So you want to learn more about why the Incense Valley Mages and Forta have reappeared? Well to truly understand that, you must understand the truth behind the Soulflame Incident.
- What is the Soulflame Incident?
The Soulflame Incident is an event that occurred around 500 years ago, deep in the heart of Incense Valley. It was an event that very few know about, however I believe it changed the course of the world and caused many of the problems that we have had to deal with recently.
- How could it affect our world so much, yet so few know of it?
Everything will be made clear to you. However, the true story of this incident is not something that can be told by one person. Even I only know a portion of the truth, and I will need your help to uncover it. Will you help this old man?

Good, then I will continue. From my understanding, the Soulflame Incident occurred right after Vanti the Etherblade invaded the Wildlands Sanctuary in an attack against the Vim. He was able to make his way deep inside the fortress, defeating huge amounts of Vim warriors. However in a moment of weakness he was attacked by a beautiful Vim warrior and lost his arm.
- I've heard about that. Who was strong enough to beat Vanti?
(Tanis Ka spreads his hands.)It was the young Phoenix, Negar, who bested Vanti. But instead of killing him, Negar mysteriously chose to help him and nurse him back to health. These two were both at the center of the Soulflame Incident. However, before I continue I would like you to talk to Guli the Senior. I know little of what happened in regards to the Athan and the Soulflame Incident.
