It's a long story. The year I served out my apprenticeship, I travelled around the world with Aiko and his mother hoping to help people with my knowledge. One day, we arrived here. A rich family asked me to choose a blessed place for them and I found a dragon cave a few days later.
- Dragon cave?
Yes. It is a most-blessed place where the essence of the universe gathers. I was going to tell the good news to the rich family, but I learned that they were evil at heart, have killed many innocent people, and have done great harm in The Billows. So in order to uphold justice, I cast a spell on the dragon cave and made it a doom grave.
- Doom grave?
Yes. The Doom Grave was invented by a Jadeon founder and is very formidable. If someone is buried in the grave, they will bring ruin to his family and offspring.
- Then did anything happen to that family?
Of course, because they buried people there. The family declined in less than a year. They finally figured out that it was my doing. I foresaw that disaster would come, so I planned to escape with my family. However, man proposes but God disposes. I used the Doom Grave and nearly killed a whole family. Although it was supposed to do good, it brought harm to the innocent. God's punishment came when Aiko's mother was shot to death by arrows during our escape.
- That's why Aiko hates you.
Yes. He doesn't know the whole story and thought I cheated people, thus bringing harm to his mother. He refused to acknowledge me as his father and joined Jadeon. But as far as I know, the head of that family didn't die and became a Corsair Leader. Can you go kill him to avenge Aiko's mother?
