The executor of Skysong, Master Chiyo tried to enlighten him which was rejected. Then Redglow behaved bad, and Master Chiyo had to give him a lesson. Redglow even fought back and then defeated by 12 Guard Monks. He ran away with injury. So he established the Temple of Afterglow for anger. Redglow accepted the heretics to his temple while he was strict with his disciples and no one did evil. That's why Skysong didn't punish them. When he went into Parinirvana, he repented for what he had done. Thus he wrote to ask Skysong to teach his disciples. So the Skysong has another branch and that's why Skysong remain the Temple of Afterglow.
