We were fated to meet here. You are powerful enough, but cannot ascend into the heavens because of how polluted and corrupted the world has become. How unfortunate!
- What should I do then?
There is another way. There are ancient Fragrant Trees many miles from here. Defeat the dryad spirit that they host to obtain some Fragrant Wood. You'll also need 50 each of Heavenshroud Jade, Frenzfume Wood, and Soulsnatcher Herbs. Combining all these materials in a furnace will produce a purifying elixir that will help you ascend to the Land of Immortals.

If you think you'll need assistance, you can take up the Blazesurge Sword. It is a weapon of fire that would be quite useful against the spirit of the tree.
