The humans were badly hurt in the Battle of Incense Valley, so they attacked the Royal City in retaliation. Though we were prepared for this, the abilities of the human world are so powerful that we still suffered a mighty blow. Cheho's brother died in this battle.

Shaw Danon is very familiar with the Tome and The Order and knows all of Velonus's maneuvers. Supported by the Divine Tales, he has the upper hand. But Velonus, in his frustration with how the battle was going, increased his ruthlessness and tyrannical force....

He used his Soul Scepter in conjunction with the Thunderblade technique in order to deal a decisive blow against Danon. But the Soul Scepter is the most evil Esper, while the Thunderblade is a skill of pure good, so the weapon and technique were incompatible. The whole world began to shake and Thunder Fire rained from the sky. He almost died.
