Have you heard of something called the Tribulation?
- Tribulation? What's that?
We enlighten ourselves in order to prolong our lives with the eventual goal of immortality. Our actions violate the rules of nature, and nature tries to stop us. The Tribulation is a manifestation of the forces of nature trying to drag us back into the cycle of life, death and rebirth.
- So to move forward I must overcome this? I am ready.
So you say. We shall see.
Fortunately for you, I am here to guide and advise you.
You will need power beyond your own in order to overcome the Tribulation, so it is time to prepare. I will guide you to where you need to go, but this will require hard work and cunning on your part.

You see, years ago I hid many Caskets of Corruption in the Wildlands in order to absorb the dark powers of that area. I want you to go check on them and make sure they are still functioning. If they are, your proximity to the energies contained within will protect you from your Tribulation. If not... well, you should just hope they're working.
