- I really want to know what happened next.
All right. Last time I said I started training to become a deity so that I could avenge my dead family. After many years, I thought I was ready, so I came back to the human world again to find my enemies.
- And did you find them?
Time passes differently here than in the mortal world. When I returned, I found that everything had changed. I traveled all over your world, but couldn't find the maidens I sought.
- You must have spent countless years in training.
Indeed, and that only made my failure all the more humiliating. When I realized that I couldn't find the demons, I lost all hope. Everything I had done was just a waste of time. I nearly destroyed myself in my anguish.

He is rarely direct in his guidance, but he did help me. Did I mention that I had a lover before?
- Yes, you did.
All those years I was focused on my revenge, with a heart full of hate, I hadn't thought of him once...
- How sad...
Lord Tabit reminded me of him, and I... (Envoy Jaderace lowers her head and looks sad.) It turned out that after I left, my lover had died in sorrow. I suppose those regrets are what is holding me back from becoming a deity.
