We are small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. We don't even know what we're here to guard.
- You haven't heard about anything out of the ordinary?
I, personally, have nothing to hide. Long ago, however, I overheard something interesting. Offically, it never happened, but apparently one night, several apprentices were killed. I didn't hear how it happened, but the surviving apprentices seemed to think that the higher-ups went to great lengths to keep this tragedy a secret.
