Go to Doom Bog and get some Apricot Honey from the Apricot Swarms. Pet Tamer Lonno will tell you how to train a pet like Ashh. (Remember that your pet must attack the Apricot Swarm. If you try to attack it on your own, you will be teleported back to Sunstream.)
