The traitors were uncovered and pushed back to Omenal Valley, where they built the Blood Essence Array. The Array needed a person's soul to be activated. The loyal Athan united against the traitors, and each tribe sent apprentices to destroy the Array before it was activated.
Omenal Valley was the rebels' base, and apprentices had to kill their patrols, gain the trust of the guard chief, and destroy the Array itself.
The rebels' leader was caught and the crisis was ended.
