After returning to Jadeon, Vanti was sentenced to death as a traitor. But, with most of Jadeon's records relating to Vanti being mysteriously destroyed by Doyel Shen, there was nothing to explain it. However Baye was once a student of Vanti, perhaps he will be able to shine a little light on the issue.

So, you want to know more about what happened during the Soulflame Incident? Hmm, I know nothing of what happened during the incident, only about what happened shortly after. It was the beginning of something beautiful and tragic.

Love, a forbidden one. You see, the reason Vanti was sentenced to death was because of his association with the Vim Herald, Negar. Somewhere on the battlefield, the beginnings of love had bloomed in the heart of the Etherblade, and Executor Hung could sense the feelings that Vanti held for this girl. Fearing Vanti was revealing all our secrets to the Vim, he sentenced him to death.
- Did he reveal Jadeon's secrets to the Vim?
Of course not. But, even while in hiding, he continued to meet with Negar. Their love continued to grow until Negar became pregnant. Can you imagine what talent and power the child of two such warriors would have? Tragically, Doyel Shen informed Vanti that the baby had died in childbirth.
