Thank you. I was ten when my parents took me and tried to escape. We were ambushed in our home, and all I heard were their screams. After the attackers were gone, the blood covered the walls. My parents were just laying there in the middle of the room.
- I'm sorry for your loss, but what about the Overlord?
I never wanted anyone to have to relive that horror. Eventually we rebuilt the city, but we couldn't defeat the Inferna. The best we could to is hope they never came back.
- But what if Chen Hsin was sent here by the gods to help you?
I don't know. She's so strange, and her yin is so strong! The seed of power within her has absorbed the power of the five elements. Whoever gave it to her was immensely powerful. But you're right. could she be the one to give Sunstrider City the rebirth it needs?
- She has to be! Why else would she come here?
