The Twin-Lotus you need is in the center of pond. It is a powerful thing. It is said that true lovers can receive it after simply praying to it by the bank of the pond. False ones, though, cannot obtain it even by boat. Many false lovers have tried, only to drown and miraculously come back to life at the pond's banks. They can only look back mournfully upon the Twin-Lotus as it sits gracefully in the center of the pond.

Lovers that died for love turned into the Twin-Lotus. One was man named Keroi, son of Mrs. Poy, who lived to the west of lotus pond. The other was a girl named Saikon, daughter of Squire Heon living to the east of lotus pond. They were childhood sweethearts, and played innocently together. But Squire Heon was strongly against their marriage due to the status of Keroi's family. The two lovers eventually had no choice but suicide by drowning in the pond, and, in doing so, became the Twin-Lotus.
- But Keroi is a girl's name, and Saikon is a boy's name.
Well, there's a reason. Mrs. Poy raised Keroi as a girl, and Squire Heon raised Saikon as a boy. The two lovers had been classmates for years, but did not know each other's secrets until they married. You should ask the two families yourself to get the full story.
- How could I suddenly visit them and ask about such a sad story?
Yes, that's true. I heard that Saikon favored a specific variety of Violet Flower when she was alive, and Squire Heon asked his servants to collect that flower every day. It is said that that flower can turn into Blooming Temptresses like the ones outside the city. You should kill some Blooming Temptresses and take the flowers to Squire Heon as a gift.
