Cruel and heartless murders, all of them! I have seen many odd murder cases before, but it's the first time I've seen such vicious murders. You can't cut someone like that without massive bleeding, but there was hardly a drop. So, the murderer couldn't possibly have used a knife, but how else could it have been done?
- Without knives? Very little blood? How?
I just can't figure it out! I'm at my wit's end. Well, I guess I should give you the details. The past few days, several corpses have turned up just outside the city. All were farmers that lived in the suburbs of Sunstream, and each had their throats cruelly cut open in the same manner with the same sharp instrument.
- A sharp weapon, but no bleeding? How?
That's the strange part. Physician Swarga performed an autopsy and found that the only wounds on the body were not done by any weapon we know of. In addition, there was hardly any bleeding. What little bleeding happened simply clotted and sealed the wounds. This murderer is far more twisted than any I have heard of anywhere in the Mid-land.
- What instrument could have made those cuts, then?
I don't know either. Try checking the crime scene. It is around a caravan stop in the Epitaph Mountain outside the Sunstream City. If you investigate it firsthand, perhaps you will be able to find some useful clues.
