The poison comes from noxious fumes, which cannot be destroyed. The concentration is very high. The Vipent Enchantresses must be using fumes straight from the source.

Lady Linaska might know how to disperse the noxious fumes. Visit the Intricate Jade Statue with a Jasper Plate. Ask for a talisman and holy water. You must sprinkle the holy water in the village.

Oh man, you don't look so hot. You must have been poisoned by the Serpent's Poison Fang. Go to the Cave of Ancient Tales and ask Lady Linaska for the holy water, or you will die! At least probably.... just to be on the safe side.
